Spotlighting...Becky Godwin

What is your full name?  Rebecka Ellen Godwin

Were you named after someone?  Who?  My middle name is after my Grandma Eleanor Parker

Where were you born?  Bountiful, Utah

What is your favorite movie?  I have a lot but probably Emma.

What is your favorite book?  That’s a really hard question.  I love to read and it just depends on the mood I’m in.  I loved Hamlet and Edenbrooke.

What is your favorite thing to do in your spare time?  I like to do crafts and digital scrapbook.

What is your all-time favorite recipe?  Please share the recipe.  Hmmm…I really hate to cook right now but I really like the Impossibly Easy Breakfast Bake especially right now when I have no energy and it is super easy and all the boys like it.

If you only had one day left on Earth, what would you do?  Spend time with my family.

What is your dream car?  I really like the Nissan Armada.

Who is one person you think you would be friends with if they lived in our time or you had a chance to meet them?  Why?  That’s hard but I think maybe Marjorie Hinckley.  I just think she was so funny and I would really enjoy visiting with her.

What have you done that makes you proud of yourself? (Don’t be shy, we are happy for your accomplishments and we are asking you to share them)  This was really hard for me.  I’m proud of my 5 boys and the new one we’re expecting in December.  It makes me the most proud to see the accomplishments they have and I like to think that I have helped them in some of those.

In your opinion, what is your best physical trait?  I like my blue eyes.  Because I have brown hair most people assume I have brown eyes so it’s always fun when they realize I have blue eyes.

What is your favorite scripture?  Helaman 5:12.  It was my favorite in seminary and still is.

What is your favorite RS/Visiting Teaching memory?  I can’t think of any one thing.  I love getting to know all the sisters and hear their different stories.  I tend to lean towards being pretty shy so when I branch out and really try to get to know the sisters I visit teach especially it’s been really fun.
